
Otis Ray Redding Jr. changed the Soul landscape in 1960 with a voice that conveyed emotion like no other; gaining the moniker "King of Soul". With such writting support from people like Sam Cooke, his music was unmistakable and unforgettable. Redding passed away at the age of 26 from a tragic plane crash. That was 43 years ago this month; but we still celebrate his music and life to this day.
