Today I talked with Lawyers, a Hip Hop legend, a really nice bus driver, my dude Hatim, and got denied for the galaxy foams! (and I haven't even got into my night predator mode yet). The days start to blur together at this point. But I found myself looking back today, thinking about when we started AM and how we felt - a world of possibilities. Sometimes you need to look back so you know how to go forward, lest we forget the reason why we go forward at all.

Annie Mulz has grown a lot since the first Daily Grind post over 2 years ago. We just launched the Pride, a concept that we have been sitting on for about 8 months. Annie Mulz is a strong third year start-up clothing company looking to be a market leader in the $3.64 billion streetwear & lifestyle niche of the Apparel Market. Our company creates high quality garments and accessories for the young metropolitan male and female. We provide our brand experience through tee shirts, button downs, outerwear, and accessories. Our business strategy, products, and brand image offer our customers a unique lifestyle, this makes Annie Mulz a leader in the marketplace and a favorite brand of trendsetters.
We are currently seeking a Videographer Intern to be a part of the Annie Mulz Team. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, self directed and be passionate about his/her work.
Essential Functions:
The Videographer Intern will work under the supervision of our Marketing Director and will spend a minimum of 5-10 hours/ week conceptualizing, producing, shooting and editing all video productions in support of Annie Mulz initiatives. Video productions will include:
- Company meetings
- Events
- Sponsored shows/ concerts
- Group outings
In addition, the Videographer Intern will edit, compress, and assemble final audio/ video material; ensure consistency and relevancy to production; monitor quality of end product
Required Skills:
· Must be able to post/embed content using Vimeo and YouTube
· Proficient knowledge of:
o Microsoft Office
o AVID (must own or have access to AVID software)
o Photoshop
o After Effects
o Adobe Creative Suite/ Adobe Premiere (preferred)
Qualifications:
· 1 year applicable work experience
· 21 years of age (preferred)
· Owns or has access to his/her own camera
· Must be able to name the leader of ‘The Thunder Cats’

A few weeks back a good friend and inspiration to us, Deo Mwano, had the opporunity to speak at TEDxAmoskeagMillyard in Manchester, New Hampshire. The topic of his talk was the "Unexpected", something that Deo is used to. Take a few minutes to hear his story and watch his performance.
"Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Deo Mwano has taught, inspired and motivated for the majority of his life. Deo and his family have seen their share of misfortune growing up during their country’s violent civil war. At the age of seven, Deo was thrown into adulthood in the worst way imaginable, the assassination of his father. Being the oldest of four boys, he immediately had to take the reigns of his family. After moving to the United States in 2000 with his mother and three younger brothers, Deo found his voice and ability to connect with people through his undoubted talent in dance. It has been Deo’s life experiences and perseverance of his family that have made him into the talent he is today. Having his BA in international relations and history, Deo emphasizes the importance of global and social awareness. Deo aims to educate and motivate people to do more for themselves and those around them."
